We have three invaluable staff members that do not draw a salary but provide needed support: our cat Domino 2 (D2) and our dogs Taiko and Pharaoh.

D2 is approximately 8 1/2 years old. He was a neighborhood stray that was injured when hit by a neighbor’s car in May 2005. Jim and Terry's vet was able to save his shattered leg. He likes watching the world either outside in the cat enclosure or on the window sill in Joya’s office. His other favorite perch is laying across Joya's desk. Since he was a stray he has "food issues" and for a long time could not leave a food bowl empty. Though he is getting better about leaving food he can hear a food bag being opened from anywhere in the house and "magically" appears. The vet recently had us put him on a diet and he has slimmed down a bit!
Taiko, a Shiloh Shepherd, was born on September 6, 2006. She is intelligent, funny, loving yet independent and very protective of “her pack”. She loves going for long walks. She is especially devoted to Jim and will follow him whenever he leaves the room. She particularly loves being outside and will warn us (and strangers) with her barking.
Pharaoh is our newest family member. He is Taiko's half brother and was born November 24, 2007. He is smart, funny, a bit mischievous but eager-to-please with a streak of independence. He LOVES his ball and never seems to tire playing ball. He is always bringing you a ball, over and over and over again. He is especially devoted to Terry and will follow her around the house. He also is devoted to his big sister Taiko and loves playing with her. He is also our alarm clock in the morning and tells us when we should go to bed at night.
