Tourmaline is the gemstone to celebrate 8th wedding anniversaries. A client celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by having us custom design for his wife this mokume pendant with a Pixel Cut tourmaline. This couple both had 8mm wide rings with 18K yellow gold rails though different metal combinations. "N" on the left and "Z" on the right. Which do you prefer?
Gemstone Tuesday! Round diamonds are not the only shape for an engagement ring. Ovals are popular and versatile. You can set them horizontally or vertically along the finger. Oval diamonds look bigger than their carat weight in a round diamond. These are 2 oval diamonds set in different directions: one with a full bezel and one with a custom setting. Metals Monday! SRS is one of our newer metal combinations. The SRS metal combination is shibuichi, 14K red gold and Continuum ™sterling silver. Use this metal combination for any of our style of rings. Keep in mind the narrowest we can make this ring is 6mm. This is a very affordable option for those who like red gold in their ring. Though the shibuichi looks dark in the photo it will lighten up and take on its own patina over time.
