Wide band finished

So here is that ring from my last post all done and ready to ship. Hope you all like it. Wide flat and flat comfort fit bands are some of the most challenging ones we make.

Sometimes clients share the meaning behind their custom details, and sometimes they keep that story private. ✨Today, we’re admiring three small 2mm flush-set pink sapphires. We don’t know exactly why three were chosen, but we like to imagine they represent the past, the present, and the future — together. 💗Mokume of palladium 500 and sterling silver with 1mm inlay of 14K red gold. Each gemstone tells a story, and together they create a beautiful journey through time. From delicate accents to bold statements, there’s a perfect gemstone style for everyone. What’s your favorite way to add gemstones to a ring? 💍 ... See MoreSee Less

Gemstone Tuesday ✨August’s best-known birthstone is the beautiful green peridot. Because peridot ranks 6.5–7 on the Mohs hardness scale, we generally consider it too soft for a ring worn every day. It’s better suited for pendants, earrings, or rings worn only occasionally. In 2013, we were commissioned to create this special 50th anniversary ring from a husband to his wife. It features a TorusRing™ 1.88ct yellow sapphire — 8mm round — with peridot set in an 18K yellow gold center setting. 💛We’ve made very few pieces with peridot, but for someone with an August birthday, peridot and Mokume would make a beautiful pendant or pair of earrings. 💚#GemstoneTuesday #Peridot #AugustBirthstone #Mokume #CustomJewelry #AnniversaryGift ...
