Wide band finished

So here is that ring from my last post all done and ready to ship. Hope you all like it. Wide flat and flat comfort fit bands are some of the most challenging ones we make.

We are happy to work with clients so they have the ring they desire and is most comfortable for them. This couple wanted flat rings however they wanted tapered edges. If you ever have a question about whether we can do a certain style, just ask Terry. If she doesn't know it is then a "Jim" question. Terry consults with Jim and lets you know the answer. ... Gemstone Tuesday! January's birthstone is garnet. Garnets not only come in red but also orange, yellow, purple and vibrant green. Garnets are also the gemstone for the second wedding anniversary. Spessartite garnets are orange in color. Jim's cousin requested Jim make a ring for her garnet. The 4 metal combination of 18K yellow gold, 14K palladium white gold, 14K red gold and sterling silver is a great match for this garnet. Maybe time to think about a garnet pendant or ring for an upcoming second wedding anniversary? ... See MoreSee Less

Metals Monday! Sterling silver is required in the precious metal combinations in order to etch the rings. Without etching the contrast of the pattern is a bit more subtle. Some people prefer no silver and/or like the more subtle look of no silver in the metal combination. These are the 4 metal combinations that always are non-etched. Any preference? ... Flashback Friday! Clients in 2012 wanted just a hint of yellow gold in their rings. These rings are palladium 950 and sterling silver with a fine layer of 18K yellow gold. We no longer use palladium 950 however we can obtain the same look using palladium 500. If you would like we can either make the yellow gold layer thicker or add another layer of yellow gold so the yellow gold is more evident. Your thoughts?! Do you like the yellow gold this subtle or would you want to see more yellow gold? ... See MoreSee Less
